Charlie Cooper flourished as an artist

Charlie Cooper flourished as an artist whilst a student at TPS and was particularly enthused by 3D work.
He made some outstanding sculptures and was awarded an A* in his GCSE Art this summer. He has now used his skills working with fibre glass resin to produce a fabulous sculpture which is featured in the new Sculpture Garden next to the school’s Art block.

16 year-old Charlie now attends Alton College, studying a BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design, and is also working with Jacobson Chemicals Limited, a specialist chemical distributor supplying specialist materials to artists.Jacobson also play a major role in Charlie and younger brother Harvey supplying materials for the film industry.
Since completing this sculpture, Charlie has been busy sculpting similar sculptures for clients and is currently promoting himself as a young artist.

The project would not have been possible without Jacobson Chemicals and Nord Composites, who gave me free access to the materials used for the sculpture. Special thanks also to Mike Onslow, who is a local sculptor and mould maker. He was able to provide me with technical advice throughout the project, which was a great help to me.
